Wattsburg Area School District welcomes you to our community!

Parents/guardians can pick up Registration Packets at the District Administration Office or print the electronic version. Completed packets along with the required documents listed below can be emailed to the District Registrar or an appointment can be made to bring everything in. When returning the registration documents to the District Administration Office, please allow time to review at the office. All documents under the Registration Requirements below must be submitted together. Registration cannot be completed unless all requirements are provided. All applicable forms in the Registration Packet must be physically or electronically signed.

Requirements

Registration Requirements:  The following documentation is required. 
   

  • Proof of Age: Birth certificate, passport, baptismal certificate.
    • NOTE: Kindergarten students must be 5 years old on August 31st of the enrolling school year. 
  • Immunization Record (Click link for vaccination requirements)
  • Proof of ID: Valid PA driver's license, PA ID card, address update card as applicable.
  • Proof of Residency (Parent/Guardian owns): Current deed, mortgage statement or property/school tax bill no more than three months old.
  • Proof of Residency (Parent/Guardian rents): Current residential lease agreement. Must be signed and dated by landlord/property manager and parent, who must also be listed as a tenant.
  • Proof of Residency (provide 2): 
    • Utility bill no more than three months old. Bills from separate utility companies may be submitted to satisfy 2 proofs.
    • Credit card bill no more than three months old.
    • Insurance document no more than three months old.
  • Custody Order/Court Placement Order (If applicable)
  • Are you living with another Wattsburg resident who owns a home?  Please call the District Registrar at 814-824-4142.

Other Requirements:
If applicable, these will be due to the school office prior to or on the first day of school: 

  • Physical Exam Form: Private Physician form unless designated on Student Health History to be done by school physician at no charge for students entering grades K, 6th or 11th. 
  • School Dental Form: Private Dentist form unless designated on Student Health History to be done by school dentist at no charge for students entering grades K, 3rd or 7th.  

Change of Address:
Have you moved within the District boundaries and need to update your address?  Please contact your child's school to submit the following:

  • Parent/Guardian ID: Acceptable documentation includes: Valid PA Driver's License or PA State Identification Card with current address. Address update card acceptable with ID.  
  • Proof of Residency in Wattsburg Area School District: (two forms required): A deed, lease/rental agreement, utility bill, property/school tax bill, insurance document . Acceptable documentation must be current (active or within three months) and include the name and physical address of the parent/guardian.
